The Garage Studio Gallery is one of my studio spaces
that is converted several times a year into a pop- up gallery
space exhibiting experimental work by a variety of other artists.
Because the cost of space in Seattle is so expensive, there are
few places for artists to show work of an experimental nature
or to work on ideas for upcoming projects. Artists who have recently
shown in The Garage include Sue Danielson, Robin Green, Ellen
Zeigler with Sara Osebold, and Tim Cross.
The Garage Studio gallery participated in last year's
Deconstructed Art Fair with the pop up exhibition, "Something
to Talk About", consisting of 16 Seattle based artists with
projected videos by four of the artists and music performance
by Rick Bidlack. Fall 2022 will feature an installation by Juliette
Shen.
